Feria de Mataderos
Pony Ride! Our story begins with Jorge bringing his pony into the market square. He sees a prospective customer! A lady tourista with a little girl. Mom and daughter see the pony. Mom asks if her daugher wants to ride. Of course she does! Mom says 'Hold it! I need to get your picture!"
The donation includes the model and tack and the 3 dolls. Modeled after the pony saddles seen in the market squares during festivals in South American, this saddle is shiny black and covered with tooled 'silver' conchos. The browband on the bridle is cut so that it looks like it goes under his forelock. The crupper piece is buckled under his tail for ease of removal. The hearts are seen on all the saddles. Hat to put over the horn and the extra browband in case the new owner wishes to put it on a different pony. The pony is included. She is the Breyer Merrylegs Magic Man's Grand Slam and is a very nice version of this pony.
Our pony handler is dressed in a tattered green t-shirt and white baggy pants. His hat is straw and he wears low boots and matching brown belt. Daughter is dressed for the day all in pink. Mom really despairs of her daughter at times.... She has on pink baggy pants, pink heart print frilly skirt and a pink t-shirt. Mom is dressed for the day in khaki cargo crop pants, denim jacket (removable) and pink sleeveless T-shirt. She has on darling pink tennis shoes with socks, a pink visor cap and comes with a shoulder bag and a pink camera!
