Sugarfoot
Sugarfoot is a gentle Appaloosa mare created by Jaime Baker. She's about 9 months along and is contemplating what the heck is moving around in her tummy. Feeling the bumps against her sides she flicks an ear, as if to be listening to her future foal's knickers.

This lovely little mare was created from the Breyer Classic Man O'War. She has a new set of ears, a new neck and resculpted mane, tail and forelock. She also has had quite a bit of muscling added in the chest. Her face has been resculpted and she has had a bit of resculpting done to her legs and hooves as well. Mare genitalia has also been added and, of course, don't forget the pregnant belly! All customization and finishwork done by Jaime Baker.

Finishwork is done in a mixed media of pure pigments, pastels, and acrylics. Eyes are done in acrylics and are glossed. Hooves have been sealed in gloss varnish for extra protection and then matted back down with Testors Dullcote. She is sealed in many, many layers of Testors Dullcote for a durable, matte finish. This mare is also the subject piece of a future DVD I have coming out on creating a Varnish Roan Appaloosa. She will be signed on the belly in tiny letters 'J. Baker '10'.
