DECEMBER 16
--Bobbi Devine (Recording Secretary) posted the December 1-15, 2010 minutes report. These were approved on January 2, 2011.

--Carmen Robertson (Treasurer) uploaded the November Treasurer's report:

November 1 through 30, 2010

Total Income: $361.00
Total Expenses: -$766.15
Overall Total: -$405.15

Balance in BoA Checking 11/30/10: $87,399.20
Balance in Paypal 11/30/10: $ 115.32
Total in NAMHSA Accounts 11/30/10 $87,514.52

DECEMBER 17
--Gail Schuenemann (Show Secretary) requested that the Board release a public statement regarding following the established rules when submitting show applications, as she and Jill continue to have problems with applications. Jackie Arns-Rossi (President) asked Pauline Entin (Public Relations) to draft this post.

--Gail Schuenemann also posted that a show membership applicant was requesting an immediate refund for show membership fees for a canceled show. It was agreed that Gail would respond to the applicant that the original money order needs to be handled properly according to NAMHSA rules, and that a refund would be issued by the Treasurer once she receives the original money order made payable to NAMHSA.

DECEMBER 20
--The poll to decide whether or not to hold a live auction at NAN 2011 in Tucson closed. The poll resulted in a tie (6 to 6), thus President Jackie Arns-Rossi cast the final vote. The decision was made not to hold a live NAN 2011 Auction in Tucson.

--Pauline Entin prepared a statement to be sent to the hobby public regarding the rules and guidelines for applying for NAMHSA show membership. After discussion and revisions, the statement was approved to be posted.

--Jackie Arns-Rossi presented some suggestions on how to make the VP and President positions independent of one another. This bylaw change needs to be sent to membership vote, and should be on the spring ballot along with the Representative ballot.

DECEMBER 21
--Jackie Arns-Rossi posted that a statement regarding the cancellation of the NAN 2011 Auction needs to be sent out. Also, a solicitation for a NAN 2011 sponsorship chair should be sent out if the Board decides that position is needed this year.

DECEMBER 23
--Gail Schuenemann forwarded an email from a person who is a co-hostess of a show. The writer wanted to know if both co-hostesses qualify as showholders in terms of receiving the benefits of NAMHSA membership? Jackie Arns-Rossi responded that only one co-hostess could be listed as the showholder of record, and the other would need to apply for individual membership.

DECEMBER 28
--Jackie Arns-Rossi requested Pauline Entin to draft posts for both the NAN 2011 Sponsorship Chair solicitation and the announcement about the cancellation of the NAN 2011 Auction.

--Pauline Entin presented drafts of the NAN 2011 Sponsorship Chair solicitation and of the announcement concerning the cancellation of the NAN 2011 auction and invited review.

DECEMBER 29
--The sponsorship chair draft was approved and posted.
