NAN 2011 Date Change

Dear Hobbyists:

Due to circumstances beyond NAMHSA's control, the dates of NAN 2011 have been changed from June 24-26, 2011 to June 17-19, 2011. The new dates are exactly one week earlier than the previously announced dates. The location of NAN 2011 has not changed - it will be held at the beautiful and accommodating JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.

The change in dates originated with the show host hotel, not NAMHSA. Although Vice President Silke Brockmoeller had signed a contract on behalf of NAMHSA for the original dates, the hotel was obliged to honor another, earlier contract with a different organization for those same dates. NAMHSA and the hotel have agreed upon the new dates - June 17, 18 and 19, 2011.

The NAMHSA Board of Directors sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the change in NAN dates. We hope that this change will not deter anyone for joining NAMHSA in what promises to be an outstanding NAN show.

Please note that the last weekend of the NAN 2011 qualifying year is April 30-May 1. Per NAMHSA policy, any show that is held that weekend will qualify horses for NAN 2011 and 2012, including classes held on May 1. A show that is held ONLY on Sunday, May 1 will qualify horses for NAN 2012 and 2013. Until then, support your member shows and qualify your horses for NAN 2011!
