This piece is a lightly customized version of the Classic Quarter horse stallion by Maureen Love. He has been re-sculpted and tweaked all over his body, including work done to the mane, tail, and face. He was sanded and prepped, then painted using acrylics and pastels to achieve his black color, with some sunbleaching in his mane and tail. Then, his coat pattern was added; a mix of frame overo and sabino to achieve his wild coloring. He includes such details as chestnuts, wrinkles, pinking, highlighting throughout his mane and tail, individual hairing, and detailed eyes and hooves.
