NAN 2010 Auction Bidding Information
& Current Bids

All auction bidding will begin at $50. Online bids will go directly to the auction coordinator and are kept private. Bids will be increased at a level of $5 over the previous highest bidder (please use whole dollar increments for bidding) to the current highest online bidder. Online bids will be accepted through July 22nd, 12pm (KY time). **Highest bids received may be delayed in posting between Thursday July 15th - Monday July 19th as the auction coordinator and the web mistress will be offline and in-route to KY. They will be updated upon arrival for last chance bids through the week of NAN.** You will receive a confirmation email with your bidder number with your initial bid. Please allow 24 - 48 hours from the time you send in your bid to the time the web site is updated. You will not receive a personal notice if you are outbid; please check the website daily to determine if you were outbid. Because your bid will only be increased incrementally to your highest bid, it is suggested that you send your maximum bid at the beginning.

During the Live Auction, a volunteer under the coordinator will have a list of the highest maximum online bids for each lot and will bid incrementally up for you in person to your maximum. All online winners will be notified by email following the auction. All auction winner's names will be posted on the website by August 1, 2010. Due to time constraints, only winners will be notified personally by email.

Payment methods accepted for Auction purchases will be Visa/MC, Paypal, and cash (in person). We are sorry but we will not be accepting personal checks or money orders for payment methods. For online winners, payment in full must be received and cleared by August 5th, or lot goes to the next highest bidder. Payments must be made in one single installment, please no time payments. All items being shipped to winners will go out during the week of August 9th.

Texas bidders: There will be no sales tax collected on auction items won and paid for on July 22, 2010, if the amount is under $5000. Items over $5000 will be subject to Texas sales tax of 8.25%. NAMHSA is incorporated in Texas and must abide by the Texas tax laws. We are allowed two one-day sales tax free days per Texas Tax Code Section 151.310(c) and Rule 3.322(h). For our purposes we have chosen July 21 and July 22, 2010.

International bidders are welcome. All winners (U.S. and otherwise) not present at the auction are responsible for all shipping costs on items won. Items will be shipped 1-2 weeks after NAN, after the coordinator returns home and unpacks. Items will be packed for shipping with extreme care, and all items will be shipped fully insured with signature confirmation required. NAMHSA is not responsible for loss or damage by the post office.
