North American Nationals (NAN)

Proxy and Assorted Information from the Registrar 4/28/14

Hi All,

NAN 2014 Registration is OPEN! We already have 71 Entrants!

If you plan to have your horses show by proxy it is very important that YOU do your own registration. When doing your entry please ensure to list who will be showing your models by proxy. There is a field for this.

When I process your entry I will be working directly with you and NOT your proxy. It is your responsibility to work with your proxy regarding your entry.

NAN - One thing to keep in mind about NAN is that we essentially treat each day as a completely independent show day. It's like having 3 separate shows on 3 consecutive days.

What this means is that you should plan accordingly. You may not be at the same table each day you show. We will do our best to accommodate but this is NOT guaranteed.

Only bring that day what you intend to show.

When the show ends for that day you will have about 30 minutes to pack and head out. The Show Hall is NOT secure and it is NOT recommended that you leave things overnight as we and NAMHSA can not take responsibility for your property.

If we have our act together the day before Day 1, Yashka can show you where you 'll be sitting each day when you come to pick up your Show Day Packets.

Presently on the entry pages, you need to list things like extra table space and/or helper, proxy, entrant details for which you can not go back to add/modify. We're working on being able to do this in the future.

I understand many of you will not know certain things until AFTER you have entered all your models. Have no fear, if you need to make any changes to your entry that you cannot do yourself then PLEASE send me email with what you need changed and I will take care of that on my end.

Also, please send all queries to myself (nanregistrar@namhsa.org) or Yashka (nanchair@namhsa.org). We will endeavor to respond in a timely manner.

If you ask questions on FB or BLAB or YG, you may not get accurate responses if they are not from Yashka or myself.

Also, Yashka and I are not able to constantly monitor YG, FB or BLAB and it's entirely possible that your query may not be seen by us, especially in a timely manner. So PLEASE use email.

Again, if you go with answers from any other person, they may not be accurate and we cannot be held responsible. Yes, I understand they mean well but things happen and I have had to deal with such fallout the previous 3 years.
